About the Internship

Psychology as a field of education and career, has been undergoing several transitions and improvisations. To best equip the budding Psychologists professionally, while also providing them with enough practical exposure to smoothly transition into the industry University Grants Commission (UGC) has been actively taking initiatives to upscale the quality of education and ensure exposure for Psychology students during their higher education years. Recently, UGC has released New Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020) which provides a clear framework for reforms in the education system. In accordance with the NEP-2020, UGC has made internship a mandatory requirement in all the UG courses.

With the same intentions, Abhivyakti Wellness Clinic has launched Internship Programs in Clinical and Counselling Psychology for,
  • 60 Hours
  • 120 Hours
  • 240 Hours

Learning Objectives

  • The intern will be able to integrate the classroom learning to the applied settings.
  • Intern will be able to develop skills for handling various clinical and non-clinical cases, will become more confident in clinical settings.
  • Being better able to judge diverse patient diagnoses and plan treatment.
  • Learning the basics and intricacies of psychotherapy and psychological assessment.
  • Personal training in terms of relating to the patients and becoming groomed in professional conduct.
